Not Familiar With Google Adwords?
Over the last decade, Google Adwords has become the most popular method of advertising on the internet and Google is considered the leading search engine in the world. They created Google Adwords to give the online merchant industry a competitive edge in advertising by providing access to their broad network. Free Google Adwords credits can be used to purchase local, national, and internet ads on Google’s dominant network.
Virtually every online business that has experienced success has taken advantage of Google Adwords advertising credits. Because Google Ads can be found by consumers in practically every web domain, the benefit of Adwords to a fledgling internet business is: mass exposure! If you want to start attracting new customers to your website today, we strongly recommend setting up an account with Google Adwords.
How Does It Work?
Google Ads use a pay-per-click (PPC) method of advertising. You, the advertiser, provide a list of key words that are relevant to your products and website. Have you ever performed a search on Google? Of course, most of us have. On the right and sometimes above your search results, you will find: Sponsored links. These are advertisements that are using a pay-per-click method to gain exposure.
The cost of each click for an advertiser is calculated by a variety of factors. The two most contributing elements that contribute to cost of your paid listing are: Advertisers’ bids and the quality score of all ads displayed in a search result. To determine the quality score, Google considers the historical click-through rate (amount of clicks per key word) and relevance of text and keywords within paid ads. The quality score is then used to determine the minimum bid for each click by examining the quality of the landing page.
To increase your chances of success, when determining ads and keywords, it is important to consider the relevance to your business. An ad that or misleading or does not provide a clear image of the products you offer can cause you to drive customers to your business that are not your target consumer.
I personally was first introduced to Google Adwords, when I signed up for a hosting company and received my advertising voucher (I believe it was with Hostgator.com back then).

Google Wave – How Today’s E-mail Should Look Like
Have you ever wondered how different the process of “E-mailing” will be, if it was invented today ? The answer is being provided by the latest communication and collaboration tool being developed by Google. This tool is called Google Wave, which will be available later this year. According to Google, a “wave” is equal parts of conversation and document, where users can almost instantly communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

The tool was announced in front of 4000 developers who had attended the Google I/O conference in May 2009. Google is planning to release Wave to 100,000 users beginning on September 30th, using the service’s main website – wave.google.com (expect a Gmail-like invite system).
You can watch the Google Wave Developer Preview at Google I/O 2009 in the following video (One hour twenty minutes). The video explains many features that will be included in Google Wave. After watching this video, all I could say is “Awesome!”. The tool is really going to rock the Internet world. Have a look yourself :-
Some of the key features of Google Wave :-

- Real-time collaboration :- Concurrency control technology lets all people on a wave edit rich media at the same time.
- Natural language tools :- Server-based models provide contextual suggestions and spelling correction.
- Extending Google Wave :- Â A rich set of open APIs will allow developers to embed waves in other web services and to build extensions that work inside waves (similar to gadgets).
